In National Visual Art Gallery (NVAG), i was impressed by this artwork by Sulaiman Esa.

at the first glance, i was wondering why is an empty bird cage doing here. But after some thought, it gave me an idea of leaving burden behind us, and go seek for our freedom (future).

when i see the title of this artwork, it gave me another feeling. I have the feeling like when children grow up, parents will allow them to leave home, but they didn't come back home, leave the home empty. now days, when teenagers grown up, they will leave their home for work or even further education, their home feel empty (lonely). A bird cage without bird looks similar to a home without people.
